I appreciate all the messages I get on social media. I'm a social dinosaur, so I’m terrible at responding. And there’s too many now and I don’t want to respond to some and not others. However, there are some common ones, so I thought I’d put some responses here:

• To all those who simply wanted to say they like the music, I appreciate you!

• To people asking if I mind if they cover a song. I don’t mind at all, please do whatever you want with any of my songs. I’ll admit I don’t know how copyright strikes or any of that works, but I only pay for the monthly subscription fee for Distokid, so I think it’s fine. Fun Fact, when I was on BandLab, I had my album on Soundcloud and they took it down due to a copyright infringement. It was funny because the email they sent me said “Alex Pantelias, we noticed you have uploaded music by Alex Pantelias”. Never solved that issue, was stuck in chatbot hell, and just let it be.

• I get a good hearty laugh at those of you that think I’ll be famous one day. I mean, I appreciate the sentiment of course, but I’m doing everything I can to PREVENT that! Plus, in all honesty, I like my songs of course, but they are fairly simple and don’t really stand out from the crowd. I do slam you with guitars though don’t I? I HIGHLY recommend checking out the “Fans Also Like” artists on my spotify page, there’s so much good music in that group. I mean seriously great stuff – please listen to them!

• To those of you from Greece, Γειά σου! I’m actually going to Greece in July to visit my dad. Lost my mom last year, so he’s moved back out there pretty much permanently. He was born and raised there, came over to the US in his twenties. Looking forward to some 100+ degree heat!

• A bunch of you are actually around my age and sent me messages about how it was good to see an older person doing something like this. Yeah, listen – never let age keep you from doing things you love. Life is just one go-around. So if there’s something you want to do – go for it! I still feel like I’m 32 on the inside.

• I thought it was super funny when people sent me messages about getting served “Loser” by the algorithm. Like, what was the algorithm trying to say exactly? There were some very funny comments there. Remember, I’M THE LOSER! Nobody else!

• I got a number of photos of people with their dogs. Thanks for those! I do love my pups quite a bit. Always loved animals, even as a kid. One person asked if Mira was single?

• Finally, to those who had emotional reactions to some of the songs: I feel you. I've been there. I hope you are working through the tough things going on in life. Music has always been a very important outlet for me, vital really.
