Alex: This song is about my SO Jen. She’s a contradiction in a lot of ways, but it is what makes her very special. Mostly I notice she has a hard time being fully relaxed and I think that (like my song trust) is because she’s had trust broken many times, including abuse when she was younger. I just wish I could help eradicate that history so she can truely feel “free”
